OGAE Video Contest 2015: Sirusho brought Armenia another Top 5!


Pic_01Finally the OGAE Video Contest 2015 results have been announced.  This year OVC host country was France because of last year’s OGAE Video Contest 2014 winner Indila – Tourner dans le Vide. This year there were 18 countries taking part in most famous Video ocntest of Eurovision fans. You can check the participant videos of OVC, and some information about contestants here. As you might remember OGAE Armenia was represented by Sirusho’s video “Where were you” which was released on April 23 of 2015, 1 day before the Centenial of the Armenian Genocide and accordingly the song was dedicated to it.

According to the results beautiful Oonagh from Germany with her video “Gäa” got highest 122 winning points. The second and third places were for Belgium being represented by Stromae’s  masterpiece video “Quand c’est?” and for Kendji Girac’s “Color Gitano” from France.


Sirusho’s video “Where were you?” got points mostly from all the countries: 10 highest from Italy, 8 points from Ukraine, 7 points from Turkey, 6 points from Russia, Rest of the World(Australia), Greece and Montenegro, 5 points from Poland, Serbia and Belarus, 4 points from FYR Macedonia and Belgium, and 1 point from Portugal. We are thankful for each of the votes from each of OGAE member. By the end Armenia ends up on fifth place together with Greece and Poland, getting 73 points.
